what kinds of brushes/technique did you use to get it to turn out so well with fabric paint? is it just standard fabric paint?

Well, I bought tubes of fabric paint at this place called Lewiscraft; the bottle's very nicely shaped and the tips are very fine so that you get nice clean lines from it. That takes care of the outlines of things. The hair is from the same kind of paint, but I used the tip to smudge it to get that shaded effect. The skin and clothes are regular acrylic paint mized with fabirc medium. You can either use a brush or do what I did; buy an empty glue bottle that has a tip that you can poke yourself. Use a safety pin and poke that hole, widen it slightly to get the size of line you want, then dump the paint in the bottle and squeeze. Nice control on that, don't let the paint soak through, smudge it over as wide an area you can manage.

Rinse and repeat.
